I'm looking forward to...

My first little pink tulip to poke her gentle little head out of the ground.
Stolen lilacs. Yes, stolen. Although, maybe I might be able to pick one branch from my own this year.

Grape Hyacinths which I can sooo relate to because sometimes little things have to be bold!

Fresh little buds on all of the trees and bushes. I'm crossing my fingers that the trees we planted last year will all be alive.

Buttons had not only spring fever, but summer fever, in January I had to tell her that it just wasn't quite time to be sporten the sun glasses. Although, she just looks so darn cute in them!

My parlor at chistmas.

In the past, my front room has always been pinkish or purplish. But this year I decided to go with brown and white. I made some cinnimon ornaments. Grab some things from around the house and bought three darling little chandilier ornaments and wa la. I had a new tree.
The kids and I had a lot of fun decorating it and I really liked how it turned out. I think I'll do the same thing next year.

This is our family tree. It has all the kids ornaments on it. It's fun and wimsical! You can see more of our christmas day posted on March 10 at Lacys Blessings or click on the link on my sidebar.
What sweet little blessings I have!

My bloggy soul faded away with my garden

I'm catching up on my poor neglected blogs.
Last fall my life became crazy. I had one child in morning kindergarten and one in afternoon preschool.( Over here in Roosey town we don't have the luxury of a bus one way for kindergarten.) I was now in scouts. I had the girls in dance for the first time
and Q in karate. I was just trying to survive like my roses that kept blooming half way through November. (Roses never bloom in November here.) I can honestly say, I have never felt so busy and my mind so clouded. I've had a very traumatic year, that thankfully has only affected me. But My body was tired like these poor sunflowers down here.
My heart a little let down.
Blogging was the last thing I had time for or even cared about.

My bloggy soul faded away with my garden.

But now I'm trying to squeeze in a little time for blogging and get caught up on some pics. So I hope you don't mind a few pics from last year.

Hopefully, the mud will dry out soon and the daffodils will bloom!
